MelaCheck – T-cell monitoring for malignant melanoma
The peptide pools consist of overlapping peptide sequences of known melanoma tumor antigens. These synthetic peptides (15-mers) cover the entire amino acid sequence of the individual tumor antigens.
Available both as peptide pools and as individual peptides, the amino acid sequences are suitable for detecting tumorspecific human T cells in blood (e.g., from the PBMC fraction of an ELISPOT assay).
MelaCheck pools and individual peptides are geared toward a variety of potential customers, ranging from development professionals and research groups to those interested in the clinical applications of this tool in vaccination studies. In addition to its use as a positive control after immunization with tumor antigens, MelaCheck can also be used for general detection of the specific T-cell response in melanoma patients.
